You know the proliferation of VERY trivial fan pages on Facebook? I want to compile a list of them, then come up with more useless fan pages. So if you know of someone who joined some fan page that deserves to be get on the list, leave a comment. Either way, here’s some to start with:

I was waiting for a reply and then realized I never even sent the last text

I hate waking up thinking it’s a weekend then realizing it’s a school day.

A pettition to barack obama for no homework – dude you need the homework to learn to spell.

I have texted lying down and dropped my phone on my face

Why am I doing this? Just because. And because everyone love lists.. right?

Need this since I’ve migrated to sitting on the floor of my living room because using the laptop from the coffee table while sitting on the couch is KILLING my back.

IKEA shopping anytime soon anyone?

Update: Scored! Along with some bendy chopping boards. Thanks J. (:

Last night was spent at the Ellington listening to these four musicians play, and indeed my skills (if there is any) has been put to shame.

On the grand, the organ (and bright red one!) and vocals was Oli Rockberger, who has some of the most epic facial expressions while playing. :D And then on the trumpet with the craziest synth touch pad and pedals, was Audun Waage. On the electric bass was Janek Gwidala (and he looks like Julian McMahon! aww so hot), and on the drums, the legendary Jojo Mayer (who is Clem’s drum hero, and I can see why).

Awesome night of music. It’s rather displacing – listening to a master classic of Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, and a mix of jazz, electronica, contemporary, pop – and all improvised. It’s not funny. I am considering retiring from piano playing to just listening. Lol.

For one of the songs, they had the audience sing along a certain riff which goes “Never grow up, never grow old”, and it brought along a whole new level to the performance. It’s no longer a gig on stage, but all of the audience was part of it. Crazy but wonderful experience.

And all of them have BEAUTIFUL fingers.

I think electronica might become a guilty pleasure of mine. And how groundbreaking – I only had coffee and coke at the club. (Bar two sips of the guys’ alcoholic drinks lol)

Thanks Clem & Jem. (: It’s been awesome.

This is one of the coolest read I’ve read today – FAQ by the Oxford experts.

Tomorrow is going to be the longest day I have for a while, BUT IT’LL BE WORTH IT. Okay gdnight. (:

So Ens and I woke up and got out of the house by 9am, to get brekky and watch New Moon at the glorious time of 1030am. (We desperately wanted to avoid the crowd) And so, yes.

Random observations:

- The Hoyts Special New Moon Popcorn Box is designed like a tissue box. I suppose the hole in the middle of the box is supposed to symbolise a moon.. a moon filled with popcorn. Oh awesome.

- The audience watching the 1030am screening is at the very least.. diverse. We’ve got the usual teenage girls, the 40-year-old ladies, the 60-year-old couple, and a group of Asian guys. Oh and the parent who brought a screaming baby (probably not her fault, the baby doesn’t like vampires and werewolves) and the person who just wouldn’t turn their phone to silent. SERIOUSLY.

My thoughts: (Spoilers ahead) read more »

It is an apparent trend that somehow, life after the exams are busier than life during. I suppose it’s just how I’m out more, or sleeping more, or not trying to procrastinate the books.

Anyway, blog plugs (dead blog edition).  These two blogs have been dead for years (literally) but thankfully the internet preserves both good writing and bad. Here goes:

Veritas et Aequitas – one of the first blogs I’ve stumbled upon that I had to comb through the whole archives off. (There isn’t much archives anyway) But it’s like a friend of a friend kinda thing, and his posts are terribly entertaining, and to some extent, honest. If that is truth he’s writing, because I wouldn’t know. But either way, check out his LOTR review, and everything else, because they are really quite the read.

greetings from zurich – I would have asked permission to plug if he replied me online, but he didn’t. But this is the blog of Bryan Bong, who is seriously good at blogging and should start blogging again.. one day. Well he did purpose the blog to keep the peeps back in Perth updated when he was back in SG doing NS. It’s honest, and if you actually know him, his blog totally sounds like him – it’s quite exciting. :D

Yupp here you go. Ens and I are going to make it for a really early screening of New Moon tomorrow morning, and it’s not that I’m crazed over Twilight anymore, but just because we want to watch a show, and I don’t want to watch This Is It and she’s not totally keen on Time Traveler’s Wife, and New Moon is showing every hour so hopefully it’s not one with too much fan girls shrieking every time Edward Cullen gets on the screen. And with anything, the soundtrack is usually fantastic and so I’ll let you know how it goes when I get back tomorrow. (:

Don’t you think she is terribly cute?

I personally <3 this photo and you should too.

Well if you think this is cute, support Jeremy (and his camera skillz) by the following steps:

1. Click here to go to the page.

2. Click ‘like’.

3. Comment! (and boost his ego if you like)

.. and if he wins, he will take very nice pictures of you with his new camera. (Sorry girls, that’s all he’s offering. Support him anyway lah.)

I have a moth somewhere in my house. I got home and the cousin told me she trapped a moth in the bathroom. It was in her room, and she led it to the bathroom. Apparently it’s attracted to light.

But anyway, it was last spotted in my room, and it freaked me out rather terribly. It’s quite.. big. And if you say that it’s harmless, IT’S HARMING ME PSYCHOLOGICALLY.

Yeah, I’ll get over it when it’s out of my house.

Update: Alright I killed it. It landed into front of me. I couldn’t resist.

And I’ve only been up for an hour! This is a good day.

From mooty:

5. Befriend A GEPper For Three Days Camp – Non GEPpers only. Every participant will be assigned a GEPper buddy, accompanying him around the campsite to help him through different station games that serve to push his faculties to their fullest potential, such as Kick The Ball At Least Two Feet In A Decidedly Forward Direction and Boiling A Jug Of Water And Carrying It Ten Meters Without Spilling It All Over Your T-Shirt And Groin In A Highly Embarrassing Manner. Points will be awarded based on the GEPpers performance in these station games. On the final night, the GEPper with the lowest score will be tied to the campfire stake and simultaneously stoned and burned. His buddy wins an iPhone.

A definite ROFLMAO moment.

And Jeremy Wong:

You and I are traversing this dark valley. That be the place and the people God has placed on your heart to reach out and share the good news to, carrying with us the light that is Him and leaving a trail of goodness and mercy (v6). And we need not fear because He is with us.

I love the imagery of leaving a trail of goodness and mercy. (:

Okay. Virgin ice-skating experience follows. I’ll be back if my fingers did not get run over by anyone’s skates.
