Origins

Tuesday 3 November 2009 - Filed under Personal + Recollections

It has been a longest deliberation of my life – getting server space and a domain. Even coming over to Perth to study didn’t take this long.

It’s kind of a routine thing that happens year after year. I would start looking at hosting plans one fine day, very possibly because of some crazy link-after-link-after-link internet surfing. Then the deliberations start, and all that stuff. Most of the time just because there’s too many choices out there, I usually couldn’t be bothered choosing and settle with the totally customisable and Google-powered Blogger.

Because of my incessant desire to seek new grounds (blog engines), you can find on most of the major blog engines, a now-abandoned site that used to be owned by potsandkisses. (Go on, try it! Type potsandkisses.livejournal, .xanga, .wordpress and see what you find!) Ultimately however, I will still return to Blogger like a prodigal daughter.

But well, on one fine Sunday night, after watching Rove, I sat down in front of the computer and just did it. So there.

And yeah, I can’t go back now. I paid for this.

wow, I’m getting followed on Twitter lol
good on you for finally getting it done, I’m hoping to look into domains and servers after I’ve reached my WordPress limits… or maybe after exams… which ever comes first :)
