Yesterday night I dreamt that I found a new box of Kleenex Eucalyptus & Aloe Vera tissue that I bought but forgot about.

WAHLAO. I feel terribly sad. Maybe I should buy some. :D

And thank you Jasmine, for fulfilling my sashimi dream. (:

Yesterday I had my first powerenrich (powerhouse+enrich = prayer meet+cell), and it was amazing.

Yesterday was the first time I cut a birthday cake with a cleaver. Thinking about that, I still have cake in my fridge.

Today I had my first full day in the city on a Saturday, I wouldn’t usually do so because the crowds are crazy on Saturdays.

Today I had my first meal at Cantina. I had the steak, but I had a mouthful of the gnocchi and it was heavenly.

Today I watched my first oratorio. It was breath-taking.

I wouldn’t have these days any other way. Thank you all who has made my birthday awesome. (: I feel loved. Hahah.

..was spent listening to Clem singing and playing ‘Hey Jude’ on the guitar.

9 hours before that was Epic.

7 1/2 hours before that was beer at Belgian Beer Cafe.

4 hours before that was Ciao Italia.

an hour after that was getting carpal tunnel syndrome playing Guitar Hero world tour.

3 hours after that was chasing the sky shooting stars.

4 hours later was left crashing into bed.

.. to all who were part of it, thank you for making my day a great one.

This is one of the coolest read I’ve read today – FAQ by the Oxford experts.

Tomorrow is going to be the longest day I have for a while, BUT IT’LL BE WORTH IT. Okay gdnight. (:

I should blog.

And I tell you, if only Sakae Sushi or Ichiban Sushi would set up restaurants here in Perth. I would kill for sushi and sashimi buffets to be much more available.

Ens left for SG already, and now the house is just missing the presence of one more. Suppose it helps that the next two days will be packed with school and work stuffs.

I’m not sure why, but somehow I’ve accustomed to celebrating the birthday on any day other than the actual day. Nothing wrong with it really, but just sitting a little funny. I miss having birthdays on my birthday. And doesn’t help that no solid plans are set for the birthday, and if needing any gatherings, planning needs to be done.

Maybe I’ll just stay home and whoever wants to celebrate just bring food over here and I’ll eat with you.

E is awesome.

Because she has kindly informed me that she has procured my 2010 Moleskine diary for my birthday, and so as to make sure that no one else is going to buy that same thing.. (if you are even thinking about getting me a present) because why do you need two 2010 diaries when 2010 is going to only happen once?

Anyway, the redeeming factor of Australian Idol is Stan (the winner!), and Michael Buble. Serious. Buble is so terribly charming, and the fireworks are kind of synced to his performance of Cry Me a River, and that was awesome. Mika had the most exciting performance though – what a crazy performer. But I suppose falsetto is hard in a live performance because it’s probably softer than your normal voice, so it’s like a sudden decrease in volume and you wonder why and realise oh, it’s falsetto.

It’s nice seeing all of them decked out in suits, because guys look so good in a perfectly cut suit.

And dude, so much fireworks. How much did they spend on it?

And good on the binge drinking campaign to use Aussie Idol as a platform. Very opportunistic, very smart.

Last night I burst a rather huge pimple on my forehead. I wanted to sleep already but it was bleeding rather badly, and so I stuck a plaster on and went to sleep.

WORST MISTAKE EVER.

Woke up with the plaster still on my forehead (obviously). But when I took it out, it took a few strands of my eyebrow, and left a very visible red patch at where it was. I was putting my fringe back as well.. and so it didn’t help.

Lesson learnt: Do not stick plaster on sensitive skin.

So Ens and I woke up and got out of the house by 9am, to get brekky and watch New Moon at the glorious time of 1030am. (We desperately wanted to avoid the crowd) And so, yes.

Random observations:

- The Hoyts Special New Moon Popcorn Box is designed like a tissue box. I suppose the hole in the middle of the box is supposed to symbolise a moon.. a moon filled with popcorn. Oh awesome.

- The audience watching the 1030am screening is at the very least.. diverse. We’ve got the usual teenage girls, the 40-year-old ladies, the 60-year-old couple, and a group of Asian guys. Oh and the parent who brought a screaming baby (probably not her fault, the baby doesn’t like vampires and werewolves) and the person who just wouldn’t turn their phone to silent. SERIOUSLY.

My thoughts: (Spoilers ahead) read more »

It is an apparent trend that somehow, life after the exams are busier than life during. I suppose it’s just how I’m out more, or sleeping more, or not trying to procrastinate the books.

Anyway, blog plugs (dead blog edition).  These two blogs have been dead for years (literally) but thankfully the internet preserves both good writing and bad. Here goes:

Veritas et Aequitas – one of the first blogs I’ve stumbled upon that I had to comb through the whole archives off. (There isn’t much archives anyway) But it’s like a friend of a friend kinda thing, and his posts are terribly entertaining, and to some extent, honest. If that is truth he’s writing, because I wouldn’t know. But either way, check out his LOTR review, and everything else, because they are really quite the read.

greetings from zurich – I would have asked permission to plug if he replied me online, but he didn’t. But this is the blog of Bryan Bong, who is seriously good at blogging and should start blogging again.. one day. Well he did purpose the blog to keep the peeps back in Perth updated when he was back in SG doing NS. It’s honest, and if you actually know him, his blog totally sounds like him – it’s quite exciting. :D

Yupp here you go. Ens and I are going to make it for a really early screening of New Moon tomorrow morning, and it’s not that I’m crazed over Twilight anymore, but just because we want to watch a show, and I don’t want to watch This Is It and she’s not totally keen on Time Traveler’s Wife, and New Moon is showing every hour so hopefully it’s not one with too much fan girls shrieking every time Edward Cullen gets on the screen. And with anything, the soundtrack is usually fantastic and so I’ll let you know how it goes when I get back tomorrow. (:

For now, Imma crash into bed and sleep off the effects of the exams. (:

Goodnight.
